AG Jane Bradford attended our busy and joyful meeting this week to present past President Les with a Certificate marking that we were the top club in the District for contributions to the Annual Programme Funds last year.  02/04/2003 With magnificent mountains as a back drop, the District Conference, held in a huge marquee, took over Gloucester’s entire playing field 21/03/2003
David Baddams thanked Janelle Tobin from QantasLink for giving a very interesting talk on the history of civil aviation in Tamworth, leading up to the present situation.26/03/2003 RYLA participants for 2003 Nathan Browne, Anastasia Bryant and Jaime Hemmett represented here by her father, Bruce. Graham Toole along with wife Leoni, and children Julius, Rebecca and Ashleigh.  ("Mr and Mrs T and the Toole Kids") have genorously offered a show with all proceeds going to Rotary. Thanked by Dennis Johnson. 22/01/2003. Owen Thomson described the idyllic lifestyle he and his family enjoyed in PNG and the Solomon Islands, where they took civil unrest; bloody coup attempts; armed robberies and emergency evacuations in their stride. Owen concluded by saying there is no place like home -Tamworth. 15/01/2003

Our guest speaker George Barton won a Silver medal for skeet shooting at the recent Commonwealth Games. George. Thanks by David Baddams. 11/09/2002 The highlight of our week in Rotary was the visit of DG Rick Bowen-Thomas, Christine and ADG Jane Bradford who came to our meeting this week.  DG Rick spent some time with our Board after the breakfast.  In his address Rick spoke about being of service in our club, our community, our vocations and our world by promoting friendships in all of those spheres.  In that way we would certainly live up to our theme for this year- “Sow the Seeds of Love”
